Clara Marie Moran, age 87, of Woolmarket, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by those who had taken such good care of her in her last moments. Reading Holy Scripture to her and keeping her as comfortable as they knew how under the circumstances.
Clara was a woman whose life was rooted in her family (sometimes very caring, sometimes just good old-fashioned tough love). She carried a strength and kindness that touched and helped many. Whether through her firm words, her strong presence, or the way she cared so deeply for those around her. Clara made a lasting impression on all who had the blessing of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James E. Moran; her parents, Sarah Fayard and Ted Husley; her step-son, James A. Moran; her grandson, Jason Guthrie; her sister, Genevieve Robinson; and her brother, JD Husley.
Clara leaves behind a legacy of love through her devoted family. She is survived by her children, Ed (Gail) Evans, Andrea (Scott) Reynolds, Sharon (Danny) Husley, and Donna (Mike) Guthrie. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and cherished her sixteen great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, as well as one great-great-grandchild. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she found great joy in watching her family grow.
Clara’s greatest happiness came from time spent with her loved ones. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. Her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, who will carry forward her legacy of compassion and strength.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Coalville Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Clara’s honor to Coalville United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
Clara will be deeply missed, but her love and memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, Biloxi, is honored to serve the Moran family during this difficult time.
