Christopher "Chris" Robinson

Christopher ""Chris"" Robinson, 49, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Gulfport.
Chris was a life-long resident of Gulfport. He graduated from Harrison Central High School in 1984 and then from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in computer science. Chris worked with the Naval Oceanographic Office at Stennis Space Center.
Chris was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church where he served as the sound technician. He loved working on various projects, and spending time with his family. Some of his favorite memories were their many trips to Disney.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Robinson and his brother, Rodney Robinson.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Loretta; his daughter, Rachel, who was his pride and joy and his roller coaster buddy; his mother, Joan Robinson; his siblings, Jackie Hoda (Ronnie), Candy Ladner (Kurt) and Sally Gill (Pascal); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chris was a devoted and loving father, husband, son and brother. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gateway United Methodist Church in Gulfport. The funeral service will be held at the church on Monday at 1:00 p.m., where friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Coalville Cemetery.
