Christopher W. Peterson

Christopher W. Peterson, age 69 of Pensacola formerly of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025. 

He was an avid Southern Mississippi football fan and enjoyed the water, especially boating and fishing.  Christopher was an astute business man and successful real estate investor. During his later years he loved to dance and was the life of the Waterford at Creekside Senior Living in Pensacola. 

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Verlane Selness Peterson.

He is survived by his brother, Michael Peterson; his nephew, Jonathan (Kristen) Peterson and his great nephews, Cameron and Knighten Peterson.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a memorial contribution in Chris' name to the Waterford at Creekside Senior Living in Pensacola, FL.
