Christopher Celentano

Christopher Celentano, age 57, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on December 1, 2025, in Gulfport.

He was born in Wading River, New York. Christopher earned his high school diploma and completed extensive military training before proudly serving for 18 years as a U.S. Navy Seabee. After his military career, he continued serving his community through his work with the Gulfport Police Department and later with the Biloxi VA.

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanne and Dominic Celentano, and his sister, Veronica London.

He is survived by his wife of 10 and 1/2 years, Shana Celentano of Gulfport. He is also survived by his children, Gentry Seely (Nina), Dominique Celentano, and Dimitri Celentano; and his bonus children: Mason Campbell (Mandy), Charci Campbell, Bryce Campbell, and Preston Campbell.

Christopher leaves behind his siblings: Tim Celentano (Wendy), Peggy Celentano Gilder, and Dan Celentano (Lisa).

A hardcore New York Rangers fan, Christopher loved to cook—especially on the smoker—and enjoyed video games. Above all, he cherished spending time with his wife, going places together and sharing experiences big and small. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, with visitation starting at 10:00 am, at on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery, where military honors will be rendered.
