Christine Nicole Groom

Christine Nicole Groom, age 29, passed away on July 30, 2013.
Christine ""Christie"" was born in Houston TX and moved to Gulfport, MS with her parents, their hometown, at 9 years old. As a young teenager she relocated to Pearl, MS for several years to be near her Father and had returned to Texas to live near her mother several years ago. She was a loving mother to her 7 year old son, Christian and often referred to as ""Lady Blue"" by many friends that loved her. She was employed by Macy's and spent all her time with her son when she was not working. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her young son yet always remembered by all the lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Alice Myrick. Survivors include her son, Christian Daniel Casaus, mother, Michelle M. (Murray) Cato, father, Steven Douglas ""Doug"" (Rachel) Groom, brothers, Josef Vlach (Brandi) & Joseph ""Joey"" (Joanna) Groom, maternal grandparents, Joe & Faye Myrick, paternal grandparents, Vicki M & Gerry W. Kent, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2013, from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
