She was preceded in death by her husband, Mertz Shaw.
Survivors include her siblings, Haywood Dedeaux, Lesel Dedeaux, J.A. Dedeaux, Betty Foles, Thelma Rance, and Peggy McFadden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11 am, with a visitation one hour prior for friends, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. Burial will follow services at Ladner Cemetery.
