Christeen Earnest

Christeen Harrison Earnest, age 75, of Ocean Springs, passed away on December 1, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, R.D. Earnest; her parents, George and Jessie Harrison; a sister, Florena MacBeth; and a brother, Percy Lee Darby.
She is survived by children, Steve Harrison, Tyrese Earnest, Lamonica Earnest, Thomas Harrison (Cindy), Ella Knuth (Robert), Flora Rosario (Albert), James Walker (Tracy) and Grady Walker (a grandson whom she raised as a son); stepchildren, Bobbie Mann, Francis Thomas, Mabel, Shelia, Stephanie, Vicki, T.C., Nicey, Tawania, Spring, and Thomas; a sister, Winda Shepard; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved family and friends.
She was a native of Leake County and resident of the St. Martin / Ocean Springs area. She worked in a Jackson hospital, was a factory employee, and a personal caregiver for over 30 years.
She enjoyed people, pottery, and cooking. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and later in life, a member of Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast.
The family would like to thank the Divita Dialysis staff, Acadian Ambulance and Ocean Springs Hospital MICU, SICU and staff for their care of our mother.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Life Church, Ocean Springs.
Burial will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Forest, MS.
