Cheri Gail Herring

Cheri G. Herring, age 53 and a resident of D'Iberville, died on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, in Saucier.
Cheri was a native of D'Iberville and a member of Bibleway Baptist Church in D'Iberville. She was an avid gardener, loved nature, and spending time outdoors. She also loved children and animals. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nurses and staff at St. Joseph Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clemon Herring; her maternal grandparents, Ed & Pearl Clinton; her paternal grandparents, Homer & Virgie Herring; her brother-in-law, Capt. Robert Mitchell and her sister-in-law, Leah Herring.
Cheri is survived by her daughter, April N. Moore of Gulfport; her mother, Joyce Clinton Dulier of D'Iberville; her sister, Deberoh J. Mitchell of D'Iberville; her brothers, Andy S. Herring, Ray D. Pearce, and Darrell A. Pearce all of D'Iberville; her stepbrother, Eddie Lee (Barbara) Dulier of Gulfport; her granddaughter, Shelby N. Moore of Gulfport; her nephews, Jason F. Mitchell and his children, Emma J. Mitchell and Jackson F. Mitchell; Andy S. Herring, William Taylor Herring, Devon A. Pearce, and Tristan R. Pearce; her nieces, Charity J. Mitchell, Chasity R. Woods, and Ashley S. Pearce; numerous uncles, aunts, other loving family members, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013, at 11am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bibleway Baptist Church Cemetery, 11564 Highway 15 in D'Iberville.
