Charlotte Renee
Oswalt
Feb 21, 1968 — Jul 17, 2026
Charlotte R. Oswalt passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Charlotte spent most of her life in Meridian, Mississippi, before moving to Long Beach, Mississippi, in 2019. She graduated from Southeast Lauderdale High School in 1986. She dedicated many years to serving others through her work at St. Patrick's Catholic School, where she was the Accelerated Reader Coordinator. She later worked as a special needs teacher's assistant until her retirement.
Charlotte loved spending time with her family, coloring, relaxing at the beach, and watching beautiful sunsets. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was of the Baptist faith. She also had a special love for children, including many "adopted" children whom she loved as if they were her own.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Robinson; aunt, Jane Tucker; sister/cousin, Michelle Saint Coons; brother, Johnny Robinson, Jr; and father in law, Steve Duncan.
Charlotte leaves behind a loving family including her husband of 21 years, Jason Oswalt; daughter, Kali Brooks; special nieces and nephews, including Tava Shelton (Zach), Madison Robinson, Miller Shelton, Mallory Shelton, Johnny Robinson, Gracie (Mason) Manning, Lillian Broomfield, and many extended family members including, Donna and Tommy Woodall, EvaMarie and Justin Watt, Jared Woodall Family, Josh and Angela Woodall Family, Dana and Kenny Broomfield, as well as Christy and Terry Kuhn Family.
As we say "see you later," we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their love, prayers, support, and kindness during this difficult time. Your compassion has brought comfort to our family and will never be forgotten.
Charlotte's memory will forever be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Though she is no longer by our side, she will always live in our hearts. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, MS, is honored to serve the family during this time.
