Charles F. ""Goobie"" Wilson, age 74, of Biloxi, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016, in Ocean Springs.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chuck Wilson; his parents, Jeff and Elva Wilson; and his brothers: Steve, Lionel, Sonny, and Seburn Wilson.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean Colombo Wilson; his daughter, Monica Wilson Gee; his granddaughter, Madison Gee; his son-in-law, Herb Gee; and his siblings, Jenny Hire, Curtis Wilson, and Carolyn Andrews and her husband Andy, all of Biloxi.
Born and reared in Biloxi, Mr. Wilson served in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He was a Master Carpenter whose fine work can be found up and down the East Coast, in New Orleans, and at the local Elks and French Clubs. He was a lifetime member of BPOE #606 and will be remembered as a quiet man with a dry wit.
Friends are invited to visit from 12:00 o'clock noon until the service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
