Charles W. Warfield, Jr., 65, of Gulfport, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013.
Mr. Warfield was a life-long resident of Gulfport and he was passionate about his family, cars and shrimping. He and his father owned and operated Warfield's Used Cars, the oldest used car dealership in Gulfport. He was a member of Gulfport Church of God.
Even through every obstacle he faced, he had a tremendous joy in life.
He loved his family and his grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his mother, Angelina Skermetta Warfield. His surviving family members are his wife, Nettie Jo Carter Warfield; father, Charles W. Warfield, Sr.; daughter, Stacy Warfield House; sister, Gail Warfield; his 3 precious grandchildren, Ashlynn, Joshua and Blakely House; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19 from 6-8pm at the Gulfport Church of God, 2416 29th Street. The Service will be on Wednesday, March 20 at 10am at the church. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
