Charles T. Tisbury, age 84, of McHenry, passed away on July 18, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, William Levonne Tisbury and Charles Gordon Tisbury, his parents, Charles Tisbury and Minnie Wade, 3 grandchildren, Bryan Pierce, Michael Holmes, and Jonathan Longsdorf.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia R. ""Patsy"" Tisbury his children, Thomas Tisbury, Sheryl Pierce, Mary Longsdorf, Wanda Tisbury, Margaret ""Maggie"" Misenar, and C. Michael Tisbury, 4 sisters, Patricia Mangrum, Melba McQueen, Molly Cooper, and Patricia Harding , 1 brother, Merlyn Wade, 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Tisbury enjoyed fishing, planting and growing citrus trees, gardening, horseback riding, and playing table top games with kids. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 21, 2013, from 2 - 3 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Saucier. The funeral service will be at 3 pm in the church. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Pleasant Hill Pre-School and Academy.
