Charles Chris Robertson, Sr.

"Charles Chris Robertson Sr. 75, of Belleville IL, passed away on Saturday, February22, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1949 in New Orleans, LA to Edward Ray and Marguerite (Huber) Robertson. Chris was a retired Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force. He served 33 years as an accomplished navigator while performing other various roles. He flew in numerous aircraft including B-52s, F-4s and C-130s. He courageously served during Vietnam, the Cold War, the Gulf Wars, the Global War on Terror, and flew into the heart of storms as a “Hurricane Hunter”. Chris was dedicated and committed to the Air Force and his country.

He was an avid New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving to cherish his memory includes his wife, Marcia Robertson, daughter Kathy Robertson, son Charles (Crystal) Robertson, Sisters Judy (Bob) Wallace and Leslie Todd, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Ray and Marguerite (Huber) Robertson, and his brother, Edward Ray Robertson Jr."

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 11th, at Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian with full military honors.
