Charles Harry McMahon, Jr, age 82, of Biloxi, passed away on May 24, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean McMahon; his father, Charles Harry McMahon, Sr; and his mother, Margaret Kuljis McMahon.
Mr. McMahon is survived by his sons, Tim McMahon (Shiela), Mike McMahon (Stefanie), Ryan McMahon (Stephanie), and Justin Thibodeaux (Willena); his siblings, Charlotte Pisarich (Sonny) and Cheryl McMahon (Miral Nelson); his grandchildren, Mallisa Mott (Wayne), Patrick McMahon, Brett McMahon (Amber), Cassidy McMahon, Liam McMahon, Parker Kate McMahon, Shelby Thibodeaux, and Lane Thibodeaux; his great-grandchildren, Eisley, Oak, Jaxson, and Banks; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi and was a 1962 graduate of Biloxi High School. He attended Perkinston Junior College before entering the U.S. Navy where he served on the USS Boxer (LPH4) during the Vietnam War. While in the Navy, he received the Vietnam Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Following his military service, Mr. McMahon had a distinguished career with Liberty National Insurance.
He loved fishing ang hanging out with his buddies at Burger Burger.
The family would like to thank Chris Jones, Kesha Johnson, Mrs. B. Richmond and Lori Dorsey at Kare Med Assisted Living for caring for our dad as their own.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 4 – 6 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. Military honors will be rendered at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach, MS 39560.
