Charles Kenneth Herold

Charles Kenneth Herold, age 83, of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Reginald Herold and Lottie Louis Herold; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Crook; and son, Charles Scott Herold.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Kristine Herold; siblings, William Frank Herold, and Martha Faye Elliot; grandchildren, Austin Kenneth Herold, Stephanie Alana Sicotte, Stephen Alan Crook, and Elizabeth Katherine Crook; great grandchildren, Ronald, Tessa, and Luke Sicotte; and his bestfriends, Tony and Bernoulli.

Charles served honorably in the United States Navy as an electrician aboard a submarine hunter vessel. After his service, he became a lineman at the Mississippi Power Company where he retired as an Aerial Operator after 30 years. He was a loving father and grandfather. Charles was loved deeply by everyone in his life. He was a man of character and dignity who cared for everyone he met.

A graveside service will be 10 am, Friday, March 3, 2023 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
