Charles Henry Harrison, age 79, of Diamondhead, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in Diamondhead.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Wittie Harrison; his sister, Gloria Morgan; and his grandson, Dallas Pauls.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Deanna B. Harrison; his children, Charles H. "Chad" Harrison, Jr.( Lacy Robertson), and Casey Harrison; his siblings, Walter Harrison (Susanne), Susan Beasley (Les); his grandchildren, Abby Harrison, Jessica Vogelsang. Samantha Pauls, Robert Harrison, Madison Harrison-Tiffany, Lacey Harrison, and Jordan Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and a multitude of friends. 

Charles was born in Lexington, MS, and lived in Yazoo City, MS, for several years. He was a resident of Diamondhead, MS.

He graduated from Canton High School, attended Holmes Community College, and joined the United States Army in 1964, where he served in Vietnam. He was a telecommunications technician for over 40 years. Charles was an avid golfer, and also the leader of the noon group golf, active in Tuesday morning men's coffee and conversation at Diamondhead Methodist Church, and participated in their weekly Bible study. He loved to fish, mainly saltwater, going to Major League baseball games with his sons, and spending time with his family.

The family will scatter his cremated remains at a later date.
