Charles Wesley Browning Sr., age 74, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on November 21, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Browning and Harry Browning.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Helen G. Browning; his children, Charles W. Browning Jr.(Angela), Virginia M. Hilton (Ricky), and Justina M. Tillman (Darren); his siblings, Iris Snead, Harry Lewis Browning, Paul Browning (Cindy), Larry Allen Browning (Brenda), and Linda Barker Lairson; 7 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Browning was a native of Ward, West Virginia and was currently a resident of Lakeland, FL. He served in the U.S. Navy and later retired as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force where he served a s a Ground Radio Communications Supt. After retirement from the Air Force, he held positions with Electrical Power Systems, Orion Data Systems, and Litton Data Systems. He attended the U.S. Air Force Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 5 - 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. A funeral service will be at 10 am Friday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
