Charles Wallace Baber

Charles Wallace Baber, born October 23, 1945, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away at his home in Pass Christian, Mississippi, on Saturday, September 19, 2015, after a long battle with cancer.
He was surrounded by the people he loved the most and his faithful buddy, Chemo. His close friends should know that he left this world with his Ole Miss hat and blanket on. We all
Know that before he started his garden in heaven, Chuck took the time to watch the Ole Miss-Alabama game; and took all the credit for their win. Hotty Toddy!
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Catherine Knight Baber, his daughters, Lisa Baber Lofton (Steven) and Darla Baber
Brown (Chad), his son, Brandon Baber (Gretchen), his grandchildren, his mother, Mary J. Hannah, his brothers, Larry Hannah (Leah) and Thom Hannah, and a host of other beloved family members, friends, and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his fathers: Wallace Baber and Herman Hannah and his brother, Dwayne Hannah.
Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church, 202 E. Peace St., Canton, MS. Burial will follow at Canton City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Miss Catherine asks that donations be made in his name to Ronald McDonald House, Mobile, Alabama (rmhcmobile.org).
