Charlene Fisher Burman of Long Beach, MS, a native of Janesville, WI, a long time resident of Kenosha, WI, married to and survived by Merle E. Burman 58 years, graduated in 1949 from Janesville High School, a member of the Homemaker's group for 50 years, LPN from Gateway Technical Institute Nursing Program in 1971, worked as an LPN at Kenosha Memorial Intensive Care Unit for 15 years, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Long Beach, MS was a member of the OAKS and Circle II at FUMC. She is survived by 2 children, Stephen M. Burman and his wife Nan of Fort Wayne, IN and Debra K. Palmer and her husband Allen of Long Beach, MS; grandchildren Emily Burman of Fort Wayne, IN, Matthew Palmer of Long Beach, MS, Jacob Palmer and his wife Rachel of Baton Rouge, LA; and Rachel Welch and her husband Chad of Madison, MS and a special niece Liza Hatcher of Loveland, CO.
Visitation will be held prior to service on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 10am - 11am at the First United Methodist Church, long Beach, MS. Funeral service will be held at 11am in the church chapel. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, is in charge of the services.
