Cerelea “Dolores” Domm Guillot, age 92, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away in Ocean Springs, Mississippi on Friday, October 7, 2022.
Dolores was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, was a resident of Slidell for 47 years, and most recently a resident of Ocean Springs. She was a devout Catholic and was a long-time member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Slidell. She liked music, doing puzzles, going to Mardi Gras, and laughing and joking. She had a great sense of humor. Dolores loved taking the train to Illinois to visit her Joliet family. Sitting on her porch swing watching the cardinals in her yard and her much loved magnolia tree. But mostly, seeing her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle Hauck-Domm and William F. Domm; and her sister Emerzia Domm-Shroba of Joliet. Survivors include her children, Kevin Michael Guillot (Andrea) of Lacombe, Louisiana, Kirk Francis Guillot (Amber) of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and Meleah Guillot-Jones (Peter) of Ocean Springs; her grandchildren, Dorene Hill (James), Danielle Guillot, Amy Guillot, Derek Alsobrooks, Keri Hernandez (Michael), Caitlyn Grover (Alan), Collin Guillot, Kelsey Lewis and Erica Beaugez; her great-grandchildren, Quinn Stahlnecker, Tristan Guillot, Esabella Irby, Julian Hernandez, Nicolas Hernandez, Brooke Baker, Bailey Baker, Sophia Grover and Evelyn Grover; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude and thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Kindred Hospice of Biloxi, Mississippi. A private family gathering will take place to honor Dolores’ wishes to have her ashes scattered. Riemann Family Funeral Home, West Jackson County, is serving the family.
