CMSgt. Cecil Ray Bowles, U. S. Air Force, retired, age 78 and a resident of Biloxi passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 in Biloxi. He was raised in Chickasha, OK.
Mr. Bowles retired from the Air Force after 27 years of service as a Chief Master Sergeant, and worked in civil service at Keesler AFB for 17 years. He was a devoted husband and father.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nell Bowles of Biloxi; their children, David Bowles of Augusta, GA, Kay Spring of San Diego, CA, and Karen Mustain of Severville, TN; a brother, Terry Bowles of Tuttle, OK; his granddaughter, Melissa Curras of San Diego, CA; and three great-grandchildren, Mary and Ronin Curras, and Max Mustain.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The procession will depart the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. for the graveside service, with full military honors, at Biloxi National Cemetery.
