Cathy Roe

Cathy Haynie Roe, 72, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025.

She was born November 22, 1952, the daughter of Hugh Jones Haynie and Frances Anderson Haynie of Gulfport. Cathy graduated from Gulfport High School, and attended the University of Mississippi, where she was selected as one of the Top 5 Most Beautiful and Top 10 Best Dressed. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. After graduation from Ole Miss, she worked in university administration at the University of Florida and the University of Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Roe, of Fayetteville; her sons, Justin Roe of Fayetteville, Colin Roe and daughter-in-law Nicole Roe of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; and her granddaughter Tiegan Roe of Prairie Grove.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi, MS. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi.
