Catherine Patricia "Pat"
Westland
Mar 10, 1935 — Jul 14, 2026
Catherine Patricia “Pat” Westland, age 91 of Biloxi, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Westland; her daughter, Lori Thorley; her grandson, Ryan Westland; her parents, Alexander and Catherine Bullock and her sister, Lois Bennett.
Ms. Pat is survived by her son, Tommy (Mary) Westland; her grandchildren, Jillian Westland, Eric (Tracy) Westland, Lisa (Lenny) Toscano and Stan Westland, III, and her great grandchildren, Jaylen, Kylah, Cameron, Presley, Anthony, Hayleigh, Nick and Lilly.
Pat was born in Quincy, Massachusetts, and raised on Boston's South Shore, where she graduated from high school. She married her high school sweetheart, Stan, after his return from service in the Korean War. Together they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories.
Stan's career took them across the United States, allowing them to call many coastal communities home over the years. In retirement, they settled in The Villages, Florida, where Pat embraced the next chapter of life, making lasting friendships and creating many happy memories.
Pat was known for her delicious homemade whoopie pies and Boston cream pies, and she loved gathering for afternoon tea and cookies. She had a special fondness for sweet treats, especially donuts and tiramisu.
Blessed with a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor, Pat loved to laugh and had a gift for storytelling. She enjoyed sharing memories of her many life experiences, the places she had lived, and the adventures she and Stan enjoyed together. Her stories, warmth, and infectious spirit brought joy to everyone who knew her.
Pat treasured the friendships she shared with her dear friends, Lora and Katherine. The three enjoyed spending time together, especially going out to eat and sharing laughter.
Above all, Pat's greatest joy was her family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved, and her kindness, humor, and loving presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In accordance with her wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
