Catherine Jeffery Pitts

Mrs. Catherine Jeffery Pitts, age 68, passed away on Thursday September 8, 2016 at her home in Forest, MS. A visitation will be held on Saturday September 10, 2016 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS and again on Monday September 12, 2016 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Riemann Family Funeral Home in Long Beach, MS. Memorial Services will be held on Monday September 12, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home Chapel in Long Beach, MS. Officiating will be Dr. LaRue Stephens. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Pitts had lived in Forest, MS since 1987 where she moved from Long Beach, MS. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Long Beach, MS. Catherine loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her niece. She also loved to sew and take family vacations.
Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, Mr. Alan Pitts in 2014; and her father, Mr. Jefferson Martin in 1971. She is survived by her mother, Margie Martin of Long Beach, MS; two sons, Jeff Pitts (Fran) of Forest, MS and Chris Pitts also of Forest, MS; her niece, Kellie Richardson (Steve) of Gulfport, MS; one sister, Diane Pitts of Long Beach, MS; one brother, Mike Martin (Tami) of Long Beach, MS; four grandchildren, Nikki, Avery, Devan, and Brayden; great-niece, Lauren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
