Cary Randall Meadows, age 84 of Long Beach, died on Friday, May 19, 2006 in Long Beach.
Mr. Meadows served in the United States Army Air Corp as a pilot during World War II. He was a resident of Long Beach for the past 45 years and was a partner in M & H Wholesale Building Supply in Long Beach for 26 years. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Long Beach where he has been a member since the 1960's.
Mr. Meadows is preceded in death by his parents, L.B. & Mary Dean Meadows; a brother, Marvin Meadows and a sister, Justine Hoeflin.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 57 years, Helen Headrick Meadows of Long Beach; his daughter, Janice Renee Meadows of Wilmington, DE; his brother, Bennett Meadows of Elmore, AL; his sisters, Annie Mae Weldon of Notasulga, AL and Grace Prince of Auburn, AL and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 2:00pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc., Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport, friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach. An online guestbook may be viewed and signed at www.gulfcoastfh.com.
