Carroll F. Wangerin, age 78, of Saucier passed away on February 16, 2018 in Saucier.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy F. Wangerin; parents, Alfred and Lucielle Wangerin; brothers, Bob Wangerin and Larry Wangerin.
Carroll is survived by his children, Doris Benton (Gerald), Paul Wangerin, and Philip Wangerin (Nicci); siblings, Conrad Wangerin, and Simon Wangerin (Renee); grandchildren, Michael (Lana), Jessica (Nehemia), Ryan (Michelle), Gerald, Josh, Madeline (Kara), Jeremy (Aimee), Tracey (Aaron), Gavin, Hannah, and Aidan; great grandchildren; Dustin, Brielle, Brantley, Jamison, Jonah, Rankin, Timothy, Holden, Mia, and Aaron; sisters in law and brothers in law, Amy Necaise (Ronnie), Nita O'Neal (Nita), and Butch Hawkins (Sue).
He is a native of New Orleans, LA and served in the Army National Guard from 1957 to 1964. Carroll also worked 30 years for Mississippi Power. He was the President of Orange Grove Youth Association and coached baseball.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Unity Baptist Church, 236 Hwy 49, McHenry with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until the service.
