Mr. Carroll Max Triggs, 77, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 in Gulfport.
Mr. Triggs was preceded in death by wife, Rose Mary Triggs; his parents, James & Carrie Triggs; his brother, James Triggs; and his sister, Annie Jean Gray.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Triggs (Luanne); his daughter, Kelly Bishop; his siblings, Helen VanDevender Miller, Estus Allen ""Buddy"" Triggs (Shirley) and Emma Lou Landrum; his 3 grandchildren, Garrett Bishop, Justin Triggs and Marla Gertz (Matt); one great-grandson, Brandt Gertz; and the Laseter family.
Mr. Triggs was a long-time resident of Gulfport. He retired from ICG Railroad Company and was the owner of Norwood Village Cinema and Hardy Court Cinema. He was a member of Nugent United Methodist Church and he was an avid golfer and loved being on the farm and with his cows.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10th from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Burial will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
