Carroll R. Peterman, age 84 and a resident of Lyman, died on Monday, May 11, 2015, in Lyman.
Mr. Peterman was a native and lifelong resident of Lyman and a member of First Baptist Church in Lyman. He was also the owner and operator of Peterman's Garage in Lyman for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Mary Peterman and nine siblings.
Mr. Peterman is survived by his children, Cody (Angie) Peterman of Gulfport, Alaina Bullock of Gulfport, and Tonia (Aaron) Castleberry of Warner Robbins, GA; his brother, Douglas Peterman of Lyman; his sisters, Esther Cowart and Mary Workman both of Lyman and his grandchildren, Colton (Sarah) Peterman of Lyman, Lauren Peterman of Lyman, and Tyler Brown of Warner Robbins, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, at 3pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit from 1:30pm until service time. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Gideon's International, Gulfport Camp c/o Lucky Langston, 16232 Hanson Drive, Gulfport, MS 39503 or to Gentiva Hospice, 962 Tommy Munro Drive, Biloxi, MS 39532.
