Mr. Carrol E. Tussey "Bubba" was born on July 25, 1938 in Greenwood, Louisiana, and died peacefully on March 3, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
He graduated in Texarkana, at Texas High School in 1957.
He enlisted into the USAF on April 1, 1957, and enjoyed serving his country for 26 years. He married his beautiful wife, Patsy Jean Windham, on August 21, 1958, in Abilene, TX. They were blessed with eight children, and married for almost 60 years.

He is known as "Papaw" to his 26 Grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 due in April.
After retirement from military service, Carrol held various jobs in his community including Keesler AFB Commissary, driving a bus for Ocean Springs School district, J.L. Scott Marine Education Center, and the Biloxi Tour Train.
Carrol Tussey was a faithful member of Grace Independent Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, MS, where he eagerly served in various capacities as a Deacon, Usher, and Sunday school teacher. His ministry as a fervent soul winner, exhorter, encourager to the brethren, and his enthusiasm for the gospel touched lives too numerous to count. No matter where he was, he never missed an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus. His heart was the Bus Ministry, where he began driving (almost 40 years ago) while stationed in Alaska. He dedicated his life to picking up an estimated 75,000 adults and children for church in his lifetime, and perhaps the reason his favorite hymn was "Bring Them In."
Only time and eternity will tell how many lives have been and will continue to be blessed, changed, and influenced for God's Kingdom through Carrol Tussey. His servant's heart, his contagious smile, and his passionate love for his family and others will be greatly missed until we are reunited in heaven.
