Carrie Lizana

Carrie Louise Lizana, age 48, and a resident of Pass Christian, died on Friday, August 4, 2006, at her home.
Ms. Lizana was born in Gulfport and had been employed by Memorial Hospital and Miramar Nursing Center in housekeeping and at Popeyes and Sonny's Fried Chicken. She was a former employee of the Grand Casino in Biloxi and was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeLisle.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Godtfried and Carrie Schmidt; grandmothers, Rita McClantoc and Evelyn Lizana; grandfather, Adolph Lizana; and a brother, Alexander Lizana.
Ms. Lizana is survived by her parents, Hester and Jackie Lizana of Pass Christian; sisters, Carolyn Daughtery of Saucier, Janice Morton of Pass Christian, and Rita Lizana of Pass Christian; brothers, Godtfried Lizana and Schlissa Ladner of Pass Christian, Hester Lizana, Jr. and his wife Sherry of Pass Christian, and Alex Lizana and his wife Wendy of Pass Christian.
Pallbearers will be Alex Lizana, Barry Pates, Howard Lizana, Ron Hudson, C.J. Manual, and Thompson Nguyen.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Kiln-DeLisle Road Chapel, where friends may visit after 6:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be Monday, August 7, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of DeLisle, where friends may visit from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow services at New DeLisle Cemetery.
