In Loving Memory

Our beloved grandmother was a beautiful soul whose life was defined by love, compassion, faith, and devotion to the people she held dear. While our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely will live on in the hearts of everyone blessed enough to know her.

Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to caring for others, both in her profession and in her personal life. As a nurse at Ocean Springs Hospital and Memorial Hospital, she devoted her time and heart to helping others, offering compassion and comfort to those who needed it most. Caring for people came naturally to her because kindness was simply who she was.

She was the adoring wife of Ronald Monaro Sr. for 57 beautiful years, a testament to a lifetime of love, commitment, and partnership. Together, they built a family and a lifetime of memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a dedicated member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Her faith, love, and generous spirit were reflected in the way she treated others and the way she lived her life.

Above all else, her greatest joy was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren more than words could ever express. She was the kind of mother and grandmother who never missed a game, a special occasion, or an opportunity to show up for the people she loved. Whether she was cheering from the sidelines, celebrating a milestone, or simply being present, her family always knew they had someone in their corner who loved them unconditionally.

Her home was more than just a house; it was the heart of the family. It was the place everyone wanted to be for every holiday, every celebration, and every special moment. She loved a party, and she had a way of making even the simplest gathering feel special. Her home was filled with laughter, warmth, delicious memories, and the kind of love that made everyone feel they belonged. Those holidays and family gatherings will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love through her two sons Ronald Monaro Jr., and Brandon (Jennifer) Monaro, four grandchildren Leah (Robert), Alexis (Jared), Brandon Jr. (Addy), Keaton (Lauryn) and seven great-grandchildren Isabella, Cooper, Clayton, Winsley, McKenzie, Baylor, and Penelope each of whom carries a piece of her heart. She is also survived by her siblings Daniel (Hong), Sonny (Aleda), Steve (Jude), Deborah (Dan), and Patty (Dave), and Christopher Howell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were fortunate to experience her love and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Laura and Fredrick Howell; her son, Ronald Monaro Jr.; and her sister, Ginger.

To know her was to know a light that could brighten any room. She was a source of comfort, laughter, strength, and unconditional love. She had a beautiful way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Her compassion touched countless lives, and the world was a better place because she was in it.

Though our hearts ache in ways words cannot describe, we are forever grateful for the years we were blessed to share with her. We will remember her in the laughter around the dinner table, in the traditions she created, in the celebrations she never missed, and in the countless little moments that became some of our most treasured memories. We will carry her love with us in everything we do, passing down the warmth, generosity, and devotion she so effortlessly taught us.

Her earthly journey may have come to an end, but her love will never leave us. We find peace in our faith, trusting that God has welcomed her into His loving arms, reunited her with loved ones who went before her, and granted her the eternal peace she so richly deserves.

The earth has lost a beautiful, compassionate soul, but Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel.

Until we meet again, we will love you, miss you, and carry you in our hearts forever. Your legacy will live on through every life you touched, every tradition you created, and every generation that will continue to know your love.

May you rest in the eternal peace and glory of our Lord, surrounded by His everlasting love. You were our light here on earth, and now you shine in Heaven.

The family is planning a Memorial Mass to be held and once all finalized, those details will be announced.
