Carolyn Leister, age 77, of Woolmarket, passed away on January 27, 2026, in Long Beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Richard Leister; a son, John David Leister, and her mother, Hazel McNatt Webb.

Mrs. Leister is survived by her daughter, Kini Gonsoulin; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Rippeon (Greg); a brother-in-law, Michael Leister; 2 grandchildren, Jessica Leister and Case Gonsoulin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a native of Florida and was a longtime resident of Woolmarket. She was a military spouse and worked at sears and Grand Casino. Mrs. Leister volunteered at her children’s schools and the chaplain’s office at Keesler Air Force Base. She was a seamstress and enjoyed quilting.

The Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach, is serving the family.
