Carolyn Ruth Denning, age 84, of Biloxi, passed away on August 2, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Hoke and Dorothy Lee Hoke, and a brother, Robert Eugene Hoke.
Survivors include her daughter, Ellen Maddox, a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
She was a native of Tipton, IN and graduated from Tipton High School in 1948. She graduated from St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, in 1951 and worked for several hospitals before retiring from the State Department of Health after 25 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39501.
