Carolyn Niolet Cuevas

Carolyn Niolet Cuevas, age 80, of Kiln, passed away on June 26, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Cuevas; a son, Heath Cuevas; her parents, Lacy and Laurlice Niolet; and a brother, Eugene Niolet.

Mrs. Cuevas is survived by her children, Scottie (April) Cuevas, Tasha (Jess) Favre, and Keshia (Bo) Necaise; a sister-in-law, Jerry Niolet; her 9 grandchildren, Amanda Cuevas, Joshua (Ashley) Cuevas, Meghan (Chris) D’Angelo, Zachary (Kristen) Favre, Jace (Elisa) Favre, Chase (Danica) Favre, Ethan (Molly) Necaise, Mason (Mariah) Necaise, and Howard Johnson; her 19 great-grandchildren, Laci, Rory, Mollie, Connor, Madi, Kinsley, Carson, Keeson, Colton, Brantley, Grayson, Grace, Lane, Beckham, Jensen, Elena, Ellis, and Gracelyn; a very special friend, John Ora Necaise; and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Cuevas was a native of Pass Christian and was a graduate of Pass Christian High School where she played basketball and she also played softball for Sellers. She previously worked for Hancock Bank, a Tupperware Sales Representative, and an Avon Sales Representative.

She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and previously served on the Parish Council, CYO Leader, CCD Teacher, and Marriage Prep Counselor at St. Ann Catholic Church – Dubuisson. She was a Brownie Troop Leader, and a coach for Harrison/Hancock Youth Softball.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice “The Carpenter House”, the Lobouy Senior Center, and all the family and friends that have helped with her caretaking.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 11 am - 1 pm at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Rd, Pass Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm in the church. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
