Carol Stamets

Carol was born in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Margaret and Charles Scheuing.  She was formerly a resident of Key West, FL and Lafayette, GA, living the past 6 years in Gulfport, MS.
She enjoyed crafting and creating flower arrangements and specialty decorations for her home.  She was a station manager for Comair/Delta Airlines in Key West, FL, for 10 years before retiring.
Carol is survived by her ex-husbands, Gene Janski, Jr. of Commerce, TX,  and Russell Stamets of Gulfport, MS.  Russ was by her side until the very end. Her children, Kelly (John) Watson of Plainfield, IL and  Tom (Rebecca) Janski of Northport, FL;  four grandchildren,  Christopher and Shawna Watson, Cody and Cheyenne Janski; a great grand-daughter due to arrive in November; and her cherished dog, Harley.  She also leaves behind many cousins, brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
Carol loved her family with all she had and would do anything to help others.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.  As per her request, cremation rights have been accorded. No services are planned at this time.
