Carol Ann Capdepon Hayes, 80, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 in Gulfport.
Carol was born in New Olreans and raised in Bay St. Louis where she graduated from St. Joseph's Academy. She lived in many places, but always returning to her beloved Mississippi Gulf Coast. She enjoyed watching the Braves', and dancing when she was younger. She always held true to her faith.
Carol was preceded in death by her spouse, Marvin E. Hayes; her parents, August ""Gus"" Capdepon and Margaret Spansel Capdepon; her son, Steven B. Phillips; and her sister, Delores Capdepon.
She is survived by her beloved partner, Terry L. Atkisson; children, James Phillips Jr., William Tennant (Karen), Carolyn ""CJ"" Szymanksi (David) and Michele Hayes (Karl Boyda); her sister, Violet Ladner; her brother, Bobby Capdepon; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
May she see her mother again and may her open arms and smile be awaiting us when we reunite with the mother who will be greatly missed by those who love her.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, Thursday, March 24th at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS. The funeral procession will leave at 12:15 p.m. and the Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary Cemetery, Bay St. Louis. The online guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
