Carol Sue Allen

Carol Sue Allen, age 62 of Pass Christian, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her father, Salvador David Alexander; her brother, Leonard Ray Allen; her sister, Delores Diane Allen; and her stepsister, Terry Gilmore.

Carol is survived by her mother, Delores Alexander; her siblings, Tammy Townsend, Mark Alexander (Sherry), Dale Alexander, Patricia Dubuisson, Rhonda Alexander, Penny Brown (Erik), Vicki Alexander; and many nieces and nephews.

From the time Carol was about 11 years old, she worked alongside her Dad pulp wooding at the sawmill, and also making cane syrup. Carol was a native of Long Beach and graduated from Long Beach High School. She worked at Family Grocery in Long Beach for more than 20 years.  For the last 10+ years, Carol worked for Harbor View Café in Long Beach. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Long Beach.

She loved fishing as much as she loved teaching others to fish.  You could always find Carol at one of the harbors on the coast.  She also loved going to the casino with her best friend, Barbara Arceneaux.  She never met a stranger and was a friend to many.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Bible Fellowship Church, 7030 Menge Avenue, Pass Christian, MS 39571.
