Carlos L. "Tot" Hudson

Carlos ""Tot"" L. Hudson, Sr., from the Success Community in Saucier and was born on January 3, 1930 in Biloxi, peacefully passed away on July 17, 2014, in Gulfport with his children at his side.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Earlene Thomas Hudson; his parents, Travis and Gurtrude Hudson and three brothers, Earl, Johnny, and David Hudson, all from the Mississippi Coast.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his five children, Darlene Husley and Kay Hudson both from Success, Nancy (Bruce) King of Lyman, Carlos (Kathy) Hudson of Saucier and Gary Hudson of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one sister, Shirley Clark of South Carolina.
Through most of his life he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming. His favorite pass time was sitting out on his front porch swing watching for the humming birds while visiting with friends and family.
Though a man of few words, he was an educated and accomplished man who worked and retired from the Gulfport Glass plant after 35 years as production manager. After retirement, gardening and raising cattle became his passion.
Though he will be greatly missed here, he is home in eternity where the Lord prepared for him a place to be reunited with our precious mother and the Saviour Jesus Christ. He was a member of Success Baptist Church where he will be laid to rest following a service held by Reverend Charlie Rempel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at 3pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Success Baptist Church Cemetery in Saucier.
