Carl Eighmey Walker

Carl Eighmey Walker, Jr., 51, of Gulfport passed away February 16, 2016 in Biloxi. He signed into the Marine Corps on his first day of eligibility and served his country before returning home to family and friends along the Gulf Coast. He worked in sales at several local car dealers for over twenty years before declining health forced an early retirement in 2007. He will be missed by family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl E. Walker, Sr. His survivors include his mother, Virginia E. Walker, sisters Amy Walker (Fabio Barahona), Angela Benvenutti (Ben), Susan Dixon (Danny), and brother Steve Walker (Milagros), nieces Taylor and Jordan Benvenutti, Annalyn Barahona Walker, Emily Walker, and nephew Carl Walker along with several cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1PM, Saturday February 20, 2016 at Handsboro United Methodist Church in Gulfport with visitation beginning at 12:30PM. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis or the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
