Carl was a Gulf Coast native and Coast musician for over 50 years. His playing and singing brought joy to all who heard him. He was of Christian faith and found peace in the Lord. He led a full life and lived life on his own terms. He was hard working and remained very active until the very end. He was a loving, kind and selfless man who enjoyed fishing, gardening, plants, animals and carpentry. To know him was a great honor and privilege, he was a great story teller and he would always keep you laughing but told it to you straight. Knowing him made you a better person, his presence was huge and there will always be an empty place in this world without him. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life and memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, Pass Christian, is honored to serve the Donaldson family.
