Camillo ""Johnny"" Otello Del Grande, age 74 and a resident of Saucier, died on Friday, October 31, 2014, in Saucier.
He was born and raised in Genoa, Italy and had been a resident of Saucier for the past 10 years. He retired after 28 years of service with AT&T in Houston, Texas. Johnny was a devoted family man who loved to travel, fish, hunt, and cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferruccio and Iris Del Grande and an infant son, John Andrew Del Grande.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Elaine Del Grande; his children, Nancy (Lee) Parrish of Nashville, TN, Diana (Terry) Smarr of Gulfport, and Cathy (Randy) Moen of Vancleave; his brother, Claudio (Anna) Del Grande; his sister, Elettra (Maurizio) Lerzo all of Italy; his grandchildren, Tania Simpson, Austin Moen, Grady Parrish, and Emily Moen; one great grandchild, Tori Simpson and many other family members in Italy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, served the family.
