SGM Calvin Mark Parker, U.S. Army, Retired, age 54, of Mobile, passed away on December 5, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Douglas Parker.
Survivors include his loving wife, Angela Lee Parker, 4 daughters, Whitney Ann West, Tia Morgan (Ian) O'Leary, Kayla Marie (Steve Alberti) Parker, and Takoda Marquee Parker, his mother, Gloria Reed Parker, 4 siblings, Tony Parker, Jeanne (Gabe) Fountain, Patrice (Tim) Dyer, and Tad (Allison) Parker, 3 grandchildren, Lucas, Marleigh, and Evan, 8 nieces, 10 nephews, 1 great-nephew, and 1 great-niece.
Mark proudly served his country for 32 years, retiring as a Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army. He was also a veteran of Iraqi Freedom. He retired 2 years ago as a highly decorated Disabled Veteran to Grand Bay, AL. Since retiring, he has enjoyed making great memories with family, and spending time with his best friend ""Buster."" He recently became a member of the HOG Association of Mobile, AL. He truly lived for God, his family, and his country. He is loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. The funeral will be at 1:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project.
