Caiden Xavier Boyce

February 19, 2014 — August 7, 2014

Caiden Xavier Boyce, of Gulfport, MS was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on August 7, 2014 while hospitalized at the University of North Carolina Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. He is survived by his father, Raymond (Alex); mother, Amber; two sisters, Areaonna and Bria; and 2 brothers, Christian and Drake and a host of many friends.
Xavier was born February 19, 2014 with a congenital heart disease that led to multiple medical issues, yet he fought through frequent ailments as a testament to his enduring fighting spirit that should be emulated by all. Although he lived on earth for less than six months, Xavier taught his family and friends exuberant and profound lessons about faith, hope, perseverance, fortitude, and love. It is widely believed that Xavier was sent as an angel from heaven to experience life and rebirth in order to serve as a patron saint for the Boyce-Keyes family. The love he endures and, even more so, imparts validates the efficacy of the role he now lives in the community of saints in heaven as an advocate of God's will for the Boyce-Keyes family. He will never be forgotten! He will be remembered as a fighter and tutor for his time here in our presence and forever as our protector and guide in heaven. Everyday our faith and love is renewed and magnified by the memory of Xavier. We will continue to live our lives in honor of him and excel at all we do, because we are inspired from knowing him. His family and friends feel truly honored to know Caiden Xavier Boyce.
Someday we will meet again, someday we know not when, to hold your hand in a better land, never to part again.
