Our precious little boy, Caden Luke DiLorenzo, went to sleep on Tuesday night and woke up in Heaven on Wednesday morning.
For almost 12 years, Caden blessed us with his unconditional love, innocence, and beautiful smile. Our hearts are broken, but we rejoice that he is now able to walk, talk, and play. We know that we will be reunited with him one day in Heaven. He attended The Harrison County Child Development Center and played in the Long Beach Buddy Ball League.
Caden will be forever loved and missed by his amazing mother, Jessica, and father, David DiLorenzo, Jr.; his devoted sister, Ava; grandparents, David and Brook DiLorenzo, Christine DiLorenzo, and Mark and Jill Scafide; great-grandparents, Tom and Dorothy Clifford, and Annie Pearl Lizana; aunts and uncles, Savannah Scafide, A.J. Scafide, Jeremy and Jen Lizana; and many other relatives and friends.
In honor of Caden and Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, we ask that you wear lime green to Caden's funeral.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Reeves for his special care of Caden and the doctors and staff at the Batson Hospital for children in Jackson.
A Prayer Service will be at 3:30 pm Monday, March 19, 2018, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd., Long Beach. A visitation for family and friends will be from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm. Interment will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Ronald McDonald House, 2524 N State Street, Jackson, MS 39216.
