Bryant Hubert Quave

Bryant H. Quave, age 75, of the Latimer Community, passed away in Ocean Springs on January 5, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Alice Quave; sister, Marlene Gilbert; brothers, Walter and Paddy Quave.
Bryant is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Irene L. Quave; one daughter, Alison Elaine Quave; one granddaughter, Alexis Rose Quave, and his wife's loving Aunt Elaine Champoux. He was of the Christian faith.
At the age of 17, Bryant joined the United States Navy. He served during the Vietnam War. He served his country in the Navy for 12 years. Returning home to Biloxi in 1970, he went to work for Ingalls Shipbuilding for 9 years and later retired from Stennis Space Center after 25 years.
Bryant's greatest hobby was fishing with his longtime fishing partner, Charles Yost. He also enjoyed metal detecting, building bird houses and sitting in his recliner on Sunday's watching the Saints with his dog ""Buddy"" on his lap.
The family wishes to thank the Ocean Springs Hospital ICU unit for the good care he received and many thanks to the family and friends who supported us through visits and prayers.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016, at 12:30 pm, with visitation from 11:00 am until service time at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., at the corner of Washington Ave.
