Bryan Sample

Bryan "Boog" Sample, age 47, of Gulfport, passed away on April 26, 2018 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Sample, Sr.; and his grandparents, Georgette Gill, Dorrance Dickens, Lois Morgan and Escar Earl Sample.
He is survived by his mother, Joan Dickens Sample; siblings, Rhonda Herrmann (Mike), Donna Tanner (Ed), William Sample, Jr. and Tammie Miller (Allan); uncle, Elmer Dickens; eleven nieces and nephews, Amanda Moran, Melissa Bryant, Mike Herrmann, Jr., Mark Herrmann, Kyle Tanner, Lisa Ball, William Sample, III, Ethan McMillan, Colton Miller, Keaton Miller and Maddox Miller; special friends, Johnny Willis, Ernie Parker and Matt Tanner; special caregivers, James Richardson, Aunt Lois and Aunt Jean; and his family with O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Mr. Sample was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and was a graduate of Harrison Central High School. He worked with O'Reilly's Auto Parts as a Territorial Sales Manager and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He loved his nieces & nephews and his church.
He enjoyed car racing and go-cart racing, where he sponsored his nephew Kyle and they won many races.
Bryan was a giving person and his last gift was being an organ donor and now 2 live on because of his gift.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2414 17th St., Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends 1 hour prior to Mass. Burial will be at Finley Cemetery immediately following Mass.
