Obituary

Bruce Wayne Miller, 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Bruce was the kind of man you did not come across every day. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran, a devoted husband, a loving daddy, the best Pawpaw, a cherished great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He believed in God, loved his family with all his heart, and worked hard every day of his life. He was the kind of man who believed a handshake meant something, your word mattered, and if someone needed help, you showed up.

He never met a stranger. Whether you knew him for five minutes or fifty years, Bruce had a way of making you feel like family. He loved sitting around telling stories, laughing with those he loved, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Those who called him Pawpaw knew they were deeply loved, and they will carry that love with them for the rest of their lives.

Bruce lived a simple life built on faith, honesty, hard work, and kindness. He didn’t ask for recognition or praise. He simply lived the way he believed was right and left this world better than he found it.

While our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that Bruce is finally healed. The pain is gone, the suffering is over, and he is walking the streets of gold with Jesus. We can only imagine the joyful reunion as he embraced his beloved wife, Pam, who was waiting to welcome him home.

Bruce is survived by his children, Apryl Connelly Stroud, Wayne Miller (Jennifer), and Jason Miller (Crysy); his beloved grandchildren, Noah Necaise, Addyson Sneed (Brandon), Dana Howard (Caleb), Wayne Adams, Chloe Miller, Dakota Adams, and Colin Miller; his precious great-grandchildren; his sisters, Gloria Jones Hebbe and Linda Miller Vollintine; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever be grateful to have known him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Pamela Jean Miller; his daughter, Staci Ellen Necaise; his parents, Gordon and Robbie Miller; and his siblings, Dean Betts and Ricky Miller.

Our family will never be able to thank everyone enough for the prayers, love, visits, calls, and kindness shown during Bruce’s illness. Every act of love reminded us we were never walking this road alone.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Bruce’s memory by making a donation to a charity or cause that is meaningful to you. Your kindness will serve as a lasting tribute to his life and legacy.

Graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport, Mississippi, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate Bruce’s life and honor the legacy of a man who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Our family would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, for their compassion, guidance, and care during this difficult time.

A good man has gone home, but the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the memories he leaves behind will live on in all of us. Until we meet again, we’ll keep looking toward Heaven.
