Brenda Dean Brown

Brenda Dean Brown, age 57, of Gulfport passed away April 13, 2013 in Gulfport.
She was born December 7, 1955 in Tippo, MS to Mary and Graham Thomas. She attended and was a graduate of West Tallahatchie High School, and she also attended Delta State University. Throughout her life, she was a homemaker, enjoyed working in the yard, being on the river, and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her father, Graham Thomas; and brothers, Johnny Thomas, Bobby Thomas, and Ray Thomas.
Survived by her husband, James Brown of Gulfport; mother, Mary Thomas of Tutwiler, MS; children, Shane Brown and his wife Dana of Gulfport, Rodney Goss of Gulfport; Step Children, Major James E. Brown of Biloxi and Shelia Kendall of Cascilla, MS; brothers, Andy Thomas and Jimmy Thomas; sister, Peggy Thomas; grandchildren, Jackson and Landry Brown, Dustin and Madison Goss, Brittany and Linzey Kendall, and Courtney Ware; and great grandchildren, Hunter and Bella Ware.
The wake for family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 10 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery in Gulfport.
