Brenda Bernheim

Brenda Tanner Bernheim, age 72, of Jackson, peacefully passed away on April 28, 2021.

Mrs. Bernheim was born to Juanita Jackson and William Laurence Tanner in New Orleans, LA. She grew up in Gulfport and graduated form Gulfport East High School. Following graduation, she attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Brenda spent most of her adult life in Jackson, MS and worked in retail clothing sales. She took great pleasure in devoting her personal attention to one that needed to dress for a special occasion. Brenda was a fighter! She endured and fought courageously for 15 years against cancer. Her fight and courage also brought about a sense humor, as she would joke that she had the most PET Scans of anyone at Hederman Cancer Center in Jackson. She is deeply loved and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Bernheim Siddens of Madison, MS; cousins, Faye Fancher, Deborah Fancher Bucciantini (Chris); and many close and cherished, loving friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Outdoor Chapel, at 2:00 pm. in Gulfport. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
