Bonnie Lou Parker

Bonnie Lou Parker, a beloved figure in the hearts of many, passed away peacefully on July 2025, in her of Gulfport, Mississippi. Born on February 27, 1935, Bonnie lived a life full of love, dedication, and cherished memories.

A proud graduate of college, Bonnie enjoyed a fulfilling career in retail before embracing her true passion as a lifelong homemaker. She is known for her nurturing spirit and her ability to create a warm and welcoming home for her family. Bonnie's dedication to her family and community reflected her values and her commitment as a cherished Baptist.

Bonnie's interests and hobbies brought joy to her life. She found great pleasure in solving puzzles and indulging in the thrill of playing slots at the Island View Casino.

She leaves behind her loving daughters, Dianne L. Jones and her husband, Jamie S. Commander, and Robin M. Jones and her husband, Brian P. Corcoran, who will forever remember her guidance and affection. The legacy of Bonnie continues through her dear grandchildren, Bonnie Nicole (Chad) McKay, Robert O. Carrico Jr., Skyler D. (Nikki) Thomas, and Erica Simmons (Tong) Yang. Her great-grandchildren, Chloe L. Thomas, Saylor M. Thomas, and Kyleigh McNeely, were a source of immense pride and joy, illuminating her later years with laughter and love.

Bonnie is reunited in spirit with her son, Ralph Rickie Jones; her mother, Beulah B. Lader; her father, Willie Holcomb; and her brothers, Willie A. Holcomb and Joe Holcomb. Each of these relationships shaped her life and remains a testament to her strength and resilience.

Throughout her life, Bonnie Lou Parker exemplified love and kindness. She will be profoundly missed by those who knew her and whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who are forever grateful for the time they shared with such a remarkable woman.
